Le Petit Mod'Amour Blanc
"Domaine Modat is a modest 23 hectares of vines (with only x7000 bottles of this lovely stuff) found in the commune of Cassagnes in the Agly Valley, 30km due west of Perpignan and 200-300m above sea level. Upon founding the estate in 2007, Philippe Modat has worked the vines organically and biodynamically (not yet certified) and he has now left it in the safe hands of his dynamic and hard working sons."
"In the mouth this wine is immediately soft, luscious and oily and makes you think of peach melba yoghurt, mango and pear. There is gentle soft sweet spice (vanilla, cloves and cinamon) on the finish, which goes on and on."
Modat's reds are supposed to be amazing too - Coming soon!
